The Caramanico Terme City Hall do not take any responsibility in case of accidents, path mistakes or other inconveniences that may occur during the hikes.

The frequentation of a mountain environment may involve objective risks for physical safety that cannot be forecasted nor eliminated, therefore the “group leader” is taking every responsibility on their own safety and on the safety of the escorted ones and is committed to compliance with the following rules.

IN CASE OF ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS



READ CAREFULLY

Within the Reserve, in accordance with the law 394/91 and further modifications and integrations, it is forbidden to:
  • light fires, smoke or carry out dangerous actions that may cause fires;
  • collect or damage plants, flowers, moss and mulch;
  • catch, kill or damage wildlife;
  • disturb the wildlife;
  • introduce unleashed or leashed dogs (in the A Zone of the Maiella National Park, with the exception of the “Scalelle Path”)
  • introduce mechanical vehicles, including non-motorised vehicles;
  • carry out sport activities (hang glider, paragliding, canoeing, free climbing etc.);
  • carry out fishing activities (with the exception of the stretch from the Caramanico road bridge to the Ponte di San Cataldo, where “no kill fishing” is allowed);
  • remove rocks, minerals and fossils;
  • leave the signed trails;
  • stay overnight or camp.
Within the Reserve, in accordance with the regional law 50/1992 and further modifications and integrations, it is forbidden to:
  • disturb and damage the riverine wildlife;
  • swim or any kind of entrance into the water (administrative penalty of € 300 per person).
